Q: How do I become a contestant in the Miss Arab pageant?
A: Fill out the Registration Form here, pay the required Registration Fee here, and you'll be entered for a chance to be Miss Arab™ USA. More information about pageant process can be found on the How it works page.

Q: How fluent in Arabic must I be?

A: Unfortunately there is no way to determine the level of fluentness. A part of the contest is Arabic ability, you will be competing against the other Pageant contestants on their Arabic ability. Only one portion of the competition will be in Arabic, all other parts of the competition will be in English.

Q: Do I qualify if I'm a US citizen born in Michigan, my mother is also a US citizen born in CA, and my dad is a US citizen born in Egypt?
A: Yes, your dad was born in an Arab country therefore you are qualified. His current residency does not matter.

Q: Do I qualify if I'm a US citizen born in Lebanon, but both my parents are US citizen's?
A: Yes, you are qualified, as you were born in an Arab country.

Q: My parents are from two different Arab countries, which one can I represent?
A: You will represent your fathers country.

Q: I'm a US citizen born in NJ fluent in Arabic and I study Arab History in NJU, I also lived in UAE for 5 years, but i am not Arab do I qualify?
A: No, if you or your parents were not born in Arab country, you will not be qualified.

Q: What is the Arab Countries?
A: Arab countries is 22 countries members of the Arab League : Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

Q: I wear a head cover as a religious requirement, do I qualify?
A: Yes, both covered & uncovered qualify, there is no head style limitations.

Q: I will be 18 years old on July 18th, do I qualify?
A: No, you must be 18 years of age before July 1st. However, you may submit an exception request to the pageant committee.

Q: What are the eligibility requirements for being a contestant in this pageant?
A: Eligibility requirements are posted on our Eligibility page.

Q: Is it possible to have one of my parents stay with me in the hotel?
A: Yes, it is possible for parents to stay in the hotel, however they can not stay in the same room. They may be able to qualify for discounts through our sponsor hotels. The organization will provide free local transportation and accommodation for each contestant only. If your parents accompany you, they will be required to pay for themselves.

Q: Is there a swimsuit contest?
A: NO, there is no swimsuit contest or any other kind of contest requiring you to show your body in an uncomfortable manner.

Q: Is this pageant open only for US citizens or an international student in F-1 visa can participate?
A: Anyone can register regardless of their immigration status.

Q: I am a 23 year old Married woman, do I qualify?
A: Yes, marriage is not a qualification or dis-qualification.

Q: What if I pay the registration fee and at last moment I have an emergency which will cause me to miss the Pageant, may I get refund?

A: No, All registration fees are non-refundable.

Q: I have a scar or body imperfection, will this be a problem?
A: No, we are looking at your personality, skills, knowledge, education and community involvement.

Q: I live in the pageant city; can I stay at my home during the final process?
A: No, all final contestants must stay in the Resort and follow the Pageant scheduled program (7 days).

Q: Would this be an issue if I don't send professionally taken photos?
A: No, your profile photos doesn't have to be professionally taken at all, the most important that your profile is fully completed with photos and all other required information.

Q: I have not been in  a pageant before, do I have a chance of becoming Miss Arab™?
A: Yes, pageant competition experience is not required.

Q: What does Miss Arab™ do after she is selected?
A: She will be involved in public events for one year representing the Arab Community here in the USA. Possible media exposure, TV  and radio broadcasting, interviews, along with advertisement opportunities. Watch the current Miss Arab's activities HERE.

Q: How can I become a judge for Miss Arab™?
A: Direct an email with your name, address and telephone number to Info@MissArab.Org and your information will be forwarded for consideration.

Q: How do I book the current Miss Arab™ USA for an event?

Q: I want to be a sponsor for this pageant. How do I do that?
A: Contact our team at Info@MissArab.Org. We have a number of sponsorship packages or we can design one that caters to the needs of your company or organization.
